Celebrating 13 years of Emily the Strange, Emily's playing on her home turf Tuesday, September 12 at 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco, CA. The third installment of the 13-city worldwide art gallery tour of Emily the Strange artwork by Emily creator Rob Reger and Emily illustrator Buzz Parker, takes place in the city where it all started. Bay Area based creative house Cosmic Debris Etc. is the home and hub of fashion and lifestyle icon Emily the Strange. |
This one night only event, features live performances by acclaimed rockers The Husbands and Reger's own This Isn't It, as well as a sample sale of Emily the Strange clothing and merchandise. The event will be a unique celebration of the original art and culture of Emily the Strange. Reger and Parker will be in attendance to discuss their paintings and limited edition serigraphs that will be on display and for sale! Don’t miss this opportunity! |

Beyond fashion, the character is the subject of a quarterly comic book from Dark Horse Comics, 4 hardbound Graphic Novels by Chronicle Books, and an upcoming feature film with 20th Century Fox. |

Established in 1993 in downtown San Francisco, 111 Minna Gallery is in the
business of Art and Leisure. The gallery showcases a unique blend of local
and international artists, world class DJ's, live performance, and film
screenings in an elegantly urban and ever-changing 4,000 square foot space.
The gallery is open to the public ages 21 and over Tuesday through Friday
12-5 pm and nightly on a rotating schedule for special events.
